Water, Sewer & Stormwater Services

Recycling Drop-Off
Recycling trailers are available at the Street Department at 1123 Main St. (enter in back off Warren St.)
Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday
Large Item Pickup (Trash)
Large item pickup is available on Wednesdays by appointment. Call 812-849-4168 for details and to schedule pickup.

The Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency response services to the Mitchell community. Staffed by trained volunteers, the department plays a vital role in protecting lives and property.
