The Mitchell Police Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the City of Mitchell by cooperatively working with the public. We are committed to enforcing the laws of the State of Indiana and the Ordinances of the City of Mitchell in a fair and impartial manner to reduce crime and provide a safe environment while also respecting individual rights, human dignity, and community values. Service to the community and protection of its citizens is our mandate. To fulfill our mission, we will strive to attain the highest degree of ethical behavior and professional conduct at all times.
